Conference Proceedings

 

The Proceedings of the Conference will be published in a volume of AIP Conference Proceedings in 2010. The editors of this volume will be the Conference Chairs: Nikolaos Vainos, Stelios Couris and Stavros Pissadakis. The new  deadline for submission is 1 March 2010 (Due to regrettable unexpected system faults, denying file uploading, the deadline has been extended. If you have experienced such an issue please use email instead). All papers will undergo peer review.

Details for the preparation and submission of papers for the Conference Proceedings

For Invited Speakers the length of the papers will be up to 6 pages.
For Contributed Speakers and Poster Presenters the length of the papers will be from 3-4 pages.

The title of the paper should be the same or directly related to the work presented in the Conference.

The papers should be prepared in the 8.5 x 11 inch, single-column format of the AIP Conference Proceedings. Details for this format and the relevant stylefiles can be found here

All papers should be uploaded via the conference website. To upload the files go to the following section.

For the submission all the relevant files should be put in a single zip file. The file name should be the corresponding author name (e.g. of the form Nikolaos_Vainos.zip). The zip file should contain a word file of the paper with all the figures in it or the LaTeX file of the paper and the relevant figures in eps format. It should also contain a PDF version of the paper and a scanned file (in PDF format) of the signed Transfer of Copyright Agreement form. If it is applicable the scanned properly completed Request for Permission to Reprint Published Material form should be also included.
